This undergraduate capstone thesis investigation explores an alternative solution to an in-store sneaker shopping experience using online resources and technology. The prototyping of a mobile, virtual shopping application, intends to replicate the in-store shopping experience through a virtual store with technological assets provided smartphones.

(Un)Plugged is a space that focuses on creating different social environments through visual and auditory changes. By enclosing the sociofugal (unplugged) spaces and opening the sociopetal (plugged) spaces using different MOLO construction methods this will create both interactive and secluded areas.

FABRICATION DESIGN
The MObile KItchen is a bespoke collection of modular units that push the boundary of the cooking experience and traditional work triangle. The prototype modules in the installation highlight work zones for cooking, cleaning and preparation, demonstrating universality and flexibility for improved user experience.

Haven's design promotes to maintain the history while creating a flexible multi-use space. Haven’s design revives the magic through its lively and calming scheme, the integration of geometrically organic forms, as well as reflecting Rochester’s past.

Momento is an Italian Bistro to honor the legacy of technological feats of photography in Rochester. Momento will fuse the Italian gourmet experience with an environment of an interactive exhibition of antiques of various photographic prints and technology manufactured in Rochester over the past century.

The universally designed hotel room offers several features to assist individuals with impairments. The room and restroom a ADA compliant. Lights highlight way-finding, an automatic bathroom door, and contrasting materials help the user navigate throughout the space.

Lighting heavily impacts the preception of how users view a space. Le Fer Blades is a pop-up knife retail store designed to showcase the contrasting ambience of a space, by simply adjusting lighting temperatures. The design will exhbit how different materials behave under various lighting conditions.

Design a mixed-use building that interprets the essential elements of the palimpsest and tectonic rules of the parti as architectural and | or space planning elements for a commercial space on the pedestrian level. The design intent is to create an experiential “place” that serves as a point of cultural convergence for both the Syrian and Malmo communities.

INTRO TO INTERIOR DESIGN 1
This tram station design focuses on the re-construction/expansion of Hiroshima, stemming from the Hiroshima Peace Memorial outward. The material decision was influenced by the remaining lattice formation of the dome in contrast to the many glass buildings throughout the rebuilt city.

INTRO TO INTERIOR DESIGN 1
Two of Vignelli’s Tables: Gran Piano Table and Metaphora 1 Coffee Table, inspired me to cut, intersect, and change the orientation of simple shapes to build this dwelling. Also, it showed me ways to use different materials in the structure of the design, such as the transparency, texture, and color of materials.
